Can I install motion sensor outdoor?

When install our motion sensors outdoor, the followings should be  taken into consideration:

1. Always protect it from: rain, especially wind driven rain, direct sun light, and snow.
2. Extreme heat (outdoor temperature higher than 113 F, 45 C) would reduce the effectiveness of the sensor.
3. Extreme cold (outdoor temperature lower than 14 F, -10 C) would cause alkaline battery to freeze, therefore increase chance of false alarm or even dead sensor due to dead battery. Use of lithium battery would extend the working temperature range of sensor to about -4 F, -20 C. 

The above statements are applicable to the motion sensors in the following models:

SK602, SKQH652, SKQH652QKP3, SK615, SK698, SK633, and SK634.
