SK604 Door Alarm only works once or not at all

If your SK604 Door Alarm works once and then stops functioning, try the troubleshooting steps below:

1. Check the Sensor and Reed Switch

Make sure the small sensor and the reed switch are positioned correctly and are next to each other. If they are not aligned, the alarm may only trigger once or not at all.

Refer to the SK604 installation instructions for details on how to move the reed switch from the right to the left of the battery if needed.

After installing the SK604, if the Alarm works once then stop working, please follow the steps below to solve the issue.

2. Check if the small  Sensor is aligned with the Alarm unit. The small Sensor should be placed as shown towards the bottom of the Alarm.

L’alarme de porte SK604 ne fonctionne qu’une seule fois ou pas du tout

Si votre alarme de porte SK604 fonctionne une seule fois puis cesse de fonctionner, essayez les étapes de dépannage ci-dessous :

1. Vérifiez le capteur et l’interrupteur magnétique
   Assurez-vous que le petit capteur et l’interrupteur magnétique sont bien positionnés et placés côte à côte. S’ils ne sont pas alignés, l’alarme peut ne se déclencher qu’une seule fois ou ne pas fonctionner du tout.

Référez-vous aux instructions d’installation du SK604 pour savoir comment déplacer l’interrupteur magnétique de la droite vers la gauche de la pile, si nécessaire.

Après avoir installé le SK604, si l’alarme fonctionne une seule fois puis cesse de fonctionner, suivez les étapes ci-dessous pour régler le problème.

2. Vérifiez si le petit capteur est bien aligné avec l’unité d’alarme. Le petit capteur doit être placé comme indiqué, vers le bas de l’unité d’alarme.
