How to lock my storm door?

Using an inside latch

Our pull and push handle sets all have a lockable inside latch. You can lock the door when you are inside.

For example, the inside latch in the model SK1994 can be locked by sliding the lever towards the door opening. It will lock the latch from inside preventing un-authorized entry from outside.

You can test the function with the door open.
If you are unable to lock the latch, it maybe that the spindle is too long, change to a shorter one.


Using a key deadbolt set

If you want to lock the door from outside, you need to add a deadbolt set:
