Tips For Using Decibel Successfully
- Securely Anchor Your Gear: Choose a solid, immovable object that your gear can't be lifted over or easily removed from.
- Select an Uncuttable Anchor Point: Ensure the object you're locking your gear to cannot be easily cut or broken.
- Tightly Wrap the Cable: When securing your gear with a cable, wrap it as tightly as possible. A snug fit makes it harder for thieves to manipulate or cut the cable.
- Weather-Protected the Alarm Unit: Position the alarm unit in a spot where it's safeguarded against rain, snow, and extreme temperatures to maintain its functionality.
- Key Access: The unit should be securely locked yet accessible with a key for quick deactivation in case of false alarms or to inspect after an attempted theft.

Low Battery Indicator
When the Decibel's battery voltage falls below 7.2V, the LED will signal the need for attention differently based on the unit's status:
UNLOCKED
LED: Flashes yellow for 0.3 seconds, then off for 1.2 seconds, repeating continuously, indicating a low battery while unlocked.
LOCKED AND ARMED
LED: Indicates both armed status and low battery by:
- Flashing red for 0.3 seconds,
- Off for 1.2 seconds,
- Flashing yellow for 0.3 seconds,

Vibration Sensor Mode
This mode triggers the alarm upon detecting vibrations such as impacts, shaking, etc. This mode is suitable for environments where false alarms are unlikely.

Wall Mounting

The alarm volume is 100dB at 0.5M away.
STANDARD ALARM RATE

TRIGGER CONDITIONS
- Cable Cut or Partial Cut Detection: Triggers the alarm and continuous RED LED flashing.

- Vibration Sensor Activation: (If enabled) Triggers a short alarm upon the first impact; then triggers the Standard Alarm Rate on subsequent impacts within 5 seconds.
